Pumpkin Picking

We had such a fun weekend, although the weather was insanely hot.  We took a trip to Phillips Farm to go pick out some pumpkins and play on all the fun stuff they had to offer. Macho Man had a blast playing on the tractors, feeding the baby goats and going down the slide again and again.  He was so cute, making sure to give the young guy at the top his burlap sack so he could put it on the slide for him to go down.  We then got to take a tractor ride out to the pumpkin patches to pick our own pumpkins.  The pumpkin selection was disappointing.  It was really picked over and a lot of the pumpkins were rotted, but we managed to find a good one to bring home.  I still think the best place for pumpkins is the Farmer's Market in Raleigh - there are so many vendors with so many good pumpkins to choose :)  We will have to hit up the Farm for the fun festivities next year, but make sure we get to the Farmer's Market for our pumpkins!

Paxton's First Moments

Finally. I've finally gotten around to posting Paxton's pictures from the hospital.  I feel so behind on life right now, it's not even funny.  If I don't make a list each and every day, I cannot remember what I have to get accomplished!  Hopefully this will pass and get better soon, this mama misses her memory!  We were so fortunate to have our wonderful photographer, Traci Huffman with us again to capture these amazing moments from Paxton taking his first breath to Cade first meeting his little brother.  I can't explain how much these pictures mean to us, so I'll just show y'all :)
