Almost One

It's been a while! We have been super busy around here lately. There's been lots of party planning going on, Jason is going back to work which means we have been searching for a nanny non stop!

Little man is not so little anymore :( He is officially over crawling and loves to walk everywhere.  He talks up a storm, mostly babbling, but there is a definite dada, mama, and kitty. He is cutting 5 teeth right now, but you would never know because he's as happy-go-lucky as ever! He eats like a champ and eats pretty much everything we do now. We've started to work with a fork and spoon, which he absolutely loves, but is still trying to figure it out!

We are so excited to celebrate Macho Man's birthday next weekend with all of our family and friends :) I'm not going to lie, it's definitely bittersweet as we love to watch him grow, it's so hard to see him get bigger! I wish there was a pause button in life. Here's a little sneak peak of some of the cute finds we have!

Eleven Months

Happy Eleven Months sweet baby boy!  We are going to enjoy this last month as much as we can before this little guy turns O-N-E.  He has officially become a walker and is quite apt to showing off his new skills whenever he can - crawling is currently for chumps.  He still eats very well and absolutely loves his Cheerios.  He has been munching on lots of tofu, raviolis, spaghetti, fruits and while we try different veggies, he usually just feeds those to the dogs!  Pop Tart and Stryker just LOVE feeding time - hopefully they won't start showing the extra pounds :)

He is still sleeping through the night pretty well.  We try to have him down by 7 and he usually sleeps until 7, but sometimes he wants to start his day at 6.  We're currently battling a little cough which is causing him to not sleep as well, but hopefully it's ready to head out the door!

Hopefully everyone is surviving this cold weather that has graced everywhere.  Y'all can keep your cold and snow, we don't want it down here!  Here's to a health, happy New Year for everyone and a fun last month before my baby isn't a baby anymore!

Happy New Year!

Welcome 2014!  2013 was a pretty amazing year for us.  We welcomed our wonderful little man into the world and got to share many "firsts" with him along the way.  We had tons of visitors and were able to make it home a few times to enjoy the company of family and friends.  We are so thankful for all of the great things in our lives :)

Our evening was very uneventful.  I worked until 10 and came home and went to bed - Woohoo, big party animals right here!  After an incredibly busy night at work, I just wanted to come home and have a hot date with my pillow :)  Maybe next year will be a little more exciting!

We had a great Christmas over here.  We were sad not to be able to spend it with more of our family, but it was nice making our own traditions with our little man.  He definitely was not into opening presents - he was more concerned with the boxes that everything came in!  I'm sure next year will be a whole different story.
