Paxton Owen {4 Months}

 Well, 4.5 months to be exact {better late than never}.  Moving into a new house & trying to prep for the holidays all whilst trying to stay on top of things has proven quite difficult.  Pretty sure I reached my toddler melting point trying to get our fence straightened out.  Yeah, I lost my shit over a fence.  Oh well, it happens to the best of us!  Anyways, here we go with our latest update.  We had a four month appointment, so all stats are quite up to date :)  He seems to be quite content hanging out in the middle of the pack.

Weight: 14lbs 12 oz // 34th percentile
Height: 25" // 41st percentile
Head: 16.4" // 50th percentile

EATING
POW typically eats every 3 hours still, although we can occasionally get to the 4 hour mark.  I usually pump every 3 to 4 hours depending on how my shift is going and my freezer stash is still going strong, phew.  We have yet to start solids, although I think this little guy is quite ready.  He is so interested in food and loves to watch all of us eat.  His little mouth moves up and down like a little birdie most of the time.  Our pediatrician said we could start solids at any time because he's got such great neck and trunk control, but to be honest, we haven't thought much about it with all that's been going on.  Maybe January will be a good starting point!

SLEEPING
Little man is still a pretty good sleeper.  He eats last anywhere from 7:30-11 and wakes up around 4 or 5 to eat.  He hasn't been napping so great during the day, but he typically sleeps longer when his naps are shorter.  I think we've got a nice routine down, so my body seems to be adjusting to the routine that we have.  If we could get Cade to sleep until about 8, I think life would be perfect, but I'll take the 7am wake up calls most days ;)

ACTIVITY
This guy is a MOVER.  He flipped from back to tummy just before 4 months and hasn't looked back.  As soon as he's on his back, he's right on his tummy trying to figure out how to make his arms and legs work together to get this crawling thing down.  Boy has got places to go, things to do and a big brother to try to keep up with.  He's managed to wiggle out of his snug-a-bunny strap and completely flip himself over so he's on his tummy in that thing.  Talk about a heart attack when you're not watching!  He loves to use his jumper now do and basically do anything that involves some type of movement!  He loves watching his big brother and all of his pets as they roam around the house.  He seems to enjoy his toys a lot more than Cade did at this age.  He's CONSTANTLY putting things in his mouth and chewing on everything he can!

Happy four months sweet boy!
