It has been a busy past few weeks for us.  We celebrated 10 years of Nerm and Dubbs, celebrated Jason's birthday, had fun with Aunt Wendy and Uncle Rick, and now we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Aunt T.D. on Sunday!  This little guy has had so many visitors you would think he's a celebrity :)

We finally finished!! Next up: Year 2

Next on the agenda for us is Cade's 4 month check up - can you believe it?!? And of course, lots of packing for our adventure up north :)

Mother's Day 2013

I hope all you mama's, grandmama's, fur baby mama's and anyone like a mama had an amazing Mother's Day!  We sure enjoyed the beautiful day down here.  Jason made me some yummy french toast for breakfast, then he and Cade spoiled me with goodies.  We put a blanket out in the yard and spent the afternoon playing, talking and napping.

3 Months

Happy 3 Months to Cade!  To say that the last three months have flown by would be the understatement of the century.  I'm really not quite sure where the last three months have gone (I'm sure I'll be saying that with every monthly post), but we've enjoyed every single day, sleepless night, smile and coo that this little man gives us :)

• Playing on his play mat
• Shaking his rattle
• Tons of smiling - especially in the mornings (makes getting up super easy)!
• Listening to music
• Reading (we're almost done with Harry Potter, Year 1!)
• Giggles and Coos

 The hat's still a little big, but it will fit eventually!

We finally got around to some decorating that we've been putting off for a while. New little pictures and accessories to share.

Cade's First Moments

As promised, here are some of the first pictures from Cade's birth.  It's amazing to look back at these and see how quickly time has gone, not to mention how big he's getting!  We were so lucky to have our photographer there to catch Cade's first breath and first moments - one of the best decisions we could have made :)  It's nice to be able to share all the photos with everyone who couldn't be down here with us.

Birthday Shenanigans!

So I am obviously failing miserably at putting an update on at least once a week :(  I guess everyone just needs to be prepared for a ton of pictures all at once!  We celebrated my birthday last Thursday (last one in my twenties - uh oh!).  We had a beautiful day to celebrate the occasion - sunny and almost 80.  We kept it low key this year and spent some time at the mall then came home and ate devoured the yummy cake with a TON of whipped cream frosting - the fat girl inside me was just dying!!

Cade has been doing great lately.  We're finally starting to get a good nighttime routine down.  He gets his bath and goes down around 8 or 9.  He's typically been sleeping until 3 or 4 which has been fabulous!  Then like clockwork, he's up between 6 and 7 ready to start his day.  Days always start with tons of big smiles which just melts our hearts :)

B-Rob came to town to do the mud run and got some quality time with the little man!

Grandma and Grandpa Worthington came to visit at the beginning of April.  The boys watched Wrestle Mania on Sunday night and Cade got to wear his first wrestling outfit (somehow I managed to not snap of picture of him).  I think Stryker and Pop Tart were the most excited to see their grandparents - Pop Tart moped around for days after they left :(

I'm going to try really hard to post more frequently ... Daddy just completed a mud run on Saturday so I'll post some of the pictures from that.  I realized too that I still haven't shared the pictures from Cade's birth, so I'll get on that too :)  Look for more to come this weekend!  Happy Hump Day to ya'll!
