24 Weeks

Baby Size: 10.5" to 11.8" and 12.7 to 20.8 oz (about the size of a cantaloupe)

Fun Facts: Skin is becoming more opaque and capillaries have formed

Gender: Unknown to Mama and everyone else! 

Weight gain: 18 lbs (looks like someone ate WAY too much on vacation)!

Maternity clothes: Mostly everything now

Stretch Marks: No

Belly button in or out: Officially sporting an outie

Sleep: Pretty good

Best moment this week: Spending 7 glorious days in Mexico with my little family

Miss anything: Energy

Movement: Lots of kicks and jabs now

Cravings: Nothing unusual

Queasy or sick: Heartburn, Heartburn, Heartburn

Looking forward to: Another weekend off?!?!

23 Weeks

Baby Size: 10.5" to 11.8" and 12.7 to 20.8 oz (about the size of a grapefruit)

Fun Facts: Baby is forming nipples now and the face is fully developed (although, it will need more fat to fill out the features).  Baby can also hear my voice, heartbeat and loud noises.

How far along: 23 weeks

Gender: Unknown to Mama and everyone else! 

Weight gain: 15 lbs

Maternity clothes: Mostly everything now

Stretch Marks: No

Belly button in or out: I swear it's ready to burst at any given time, but it's still hanging in there

Sleep: Pretty good

Best moment this week: There were so many - a 3 day work week, a birthday mani/pedi, watching the little man open his Easter basket, and birthday CAKE!!

Miss anything: Energy

Movement: Lots of kicks and jabs now

Cravings: Nothing unusual

Queasy or sick: Heartburn, Heartburn, Heartburn

Looking forward to: Leaving for our vacation today!!!!!!

B-e-a-utiful Weather

This past weekend was spent entirely outside (coated in LOTS of sunscreen, smelling like the beach).  We had high 70s and clear blues skies which made for the perfect playing weather.  This little guy has a shitload of energy, so we try to burn off as much as we can outside!  He never seems to stay focused on one activity for long, he's always bouncing around from one thing to the next, eating dirt, chewing on sticks, ya know, the cool things that little boys do!  If only we could get the dogs on board, they could wear each other out, but our dogs don't seem to get the hint that Cade wants to love on them and play with them all day long :)

I'll leave you with the pics of this cute little man for now.  Back to packing, packing, packing and more packing!

22 Weeks

Baby Size: 10.5" to 11.8" and 12.7 to 20.8 oz (about the size of a papaya)

Fun Facts: Baby has more developed eyes and lips - starting to look more and more like a baby!  Also, the little one is sleeping in cycles now - usually about 12-14 hours per day

How far along: 22 weeks

Gender: Unknown to Mama and everyone else! 

Weight gain: 13 lbs

Maternity clothes: Mostly everything now

Stretch Marks: No

Belly button in or out: I swear it's ready to burst at any given time, but it's still hanging in there

Sleep: Much better this week, I finally remembered how to arrange all of my pillows and that seems to be working out wonderfully.

Best moment this week: Getting my hair cut, it's embarrassing how long it's been :)

Miss anything: A nice cold beer

Movement: Lots of kicks and jabs now

Cravings: Nothing unusual

Queasy or sick: Nope

Looking forward to: My birthday week :) :)

21 Weeks

Baby Size: 10.5" and 12.5 oz (about the size of a pomegranate)

Fun Facts: Starting to manufacture meconium this week (icky, black first poo, yuck)!

How far along: 21 weeks

Gender: Unknown to Mama and everyone else! 

Weight gain: 11 lbs

Maternity clothes: Mostly maternity, still managing to stretch out some of my non-maternity shirts

Stretch Marks: No

Belly button in or out: In for the moment

Sleep: Crappy :(  I'm not sure what the heck is going on, but I just can't seem to stay comfortable!

Best moment this week: Going to Sunny Skies on Thursday with the little guy (Sunny Skies is an amazing ice cream shop w/ over 120 homemade flavors, YUM YUM)

Miss anything: Nothing notable!

Movement: Lots of kicks and jabs now

Cravings: Nothing unusual

Queasy or sick: Nope

Looking forward to: Getting some easter decor up in this joint!  It's looking mighty bare!
